Description
This barn, located immediately south of Higher Farm House, dates back to the 16th century. It is constructed from stone rubble, with a small section of cob at the northeast corner. The roof is made of corrugated iron and features half-hipped and gabled ends. There are cart entrances located at the center of both the north and south sides. The barn originally had four bays but now consists of three. Inside, it has three jointed cruck trusses with collars and curved wind braces, along with a hip post at the west end.
