Description
Lee Cottage is a farmhouse dating from the mid-19th century, featuring a front block with a possibly earlier rear wing. The building has rubble walls, which are rendered on the rear wing, and a slate roof that is hipped at the front block and gabled on the wing. The front block includes gable end brick stacks, with the left-hand stack being rendered. The layout is a double depth plan, with the main rooms located at the front and a central entrance hall. The rear wing is likely the kitchen. The cottage is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front, consisting of mid-19th century 12-pane sash windows with brick dressings. There is a 20th-century glazed porch at the center with a glazed door, and a two-storey wing at the rear of the left-hand end.
