Description
Nos. 9 and 11 Market Street are two houses that have been converted into offices. They were built in the mid-19th century and feature painted render with painted stone dressings. The buildings have a continuous slate roof with wide bracketed eaves and no chimneys. Each house has three storeys and a two-window range. The exterior includes moulded architraves, with 4/8-pane sash windows on the second floor, plate-glass sashes on the first floor, and 8/8-pane sashes on the ground floor. There are also moulded architraves and fanlights above the six-panel doors located to the left of each house. The complete house fronts are part of a listed group in Market Street. The interior has not been inspected.
