Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Fore Street in Bishopsteignton. The exterior is colourwashed and stuccoed, likely over a stone rubble core, with a slate roof featuring gabled ends and end stacks. The house’s plan is likely double-depth with a 19th-century front door on the extreme left and a later door situated adjacent. The front facade is asymmetrical, presenting regular fenestration of 12-pane sashes. A panelled 19th-century front door is on the left, and a more recent door with glazed panes is located to its right. The interior has not been inspected. The house is notably prominent, situated on a raised pavement above the road.
