Description
This is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, located on the west side of Brook Street, Bampton. It is constructed of stone rubble, likely originally stuccoed, with an asbestos slate roof, and has gabled ends with end stacks. The house follows a symmetrical plan, organised around a central entrance between two front rooms. The front facade is symmetrical, with three bays, and features a central panelled door with a rectangular fanlight. The door is set within a doorcase featuring pilasters and a cornice. The windows are 19th-century 12-pane timber sash windows. The interior has not been inspected, but contemporary features may be present.
