Description
The gateway to Harcombe House was built in 1912 by A.F. Lucas of Exeter for Edward Chaning Wills. It is constructed of local grey limestone rubble and features a Tudor arch, flanked by pilasters. Plain string courses run along the pilasters to the springing of the arch. A datestone bearing the year 1912 sits above the archway, set into a raised parapet. The gateway has group value with Harcombe House.
