CHUDLEIGH Mistletoe Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably late C18, with a late C20 rear addition. Whitewashed and rendered, probably stone rubble; thatched roof, gabled at left end, half-hipped at right end; projectings left end stack. Single depth 2 room plan with a slightly larger heated room to the left of a through passage and an unheated service room to the right. 1 room plan late C20 flat-roofed rear addition. 2-storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front with a thatched porch on rustic posts to right of centre with a plank front door. 3 first floor 3-light casements, 8 panes per light; 3 similar ground floor windows, 2 to left of the porch. Interior not inspected. A vernacular building with a very unspoiled front elevation.
