Description
This warehouse, dating from around the mid-19th century, features walls made of limestone and red sandstone, with red sandstone arches above the windows. It has a gabled corrugated iron roof and a long rectangular plan built into the bank at the rear. Originally, the building likely had one large room on each floor, but internal partitions and floors have since been removed. It was formerly three storeys high but has been reduced to one storey. The front is asymmetrical with four windows; the second-floor windows are blocked, while the first and ground floor windows have single 20th-century panes. A 20th-century plank door is located to the far right. Although original internal features have been removed, the building remains an imposing structure with relatively unaltered external elements, including the original small openings, and it occupies a prominent position by the roadside.
