Description

This is a mid-19th century warehouse located on Madford Lane in Launceston. It is constructed of painted rubble walls with segmental brick arches, and has a rag slate roof with hipped dormers to the second-floor windows. The building has an L-shaped plan, including a wing at the rear to the left. It is three storeys high and has a three-window front. Original 16-pane, two-light casements remain on the second floor and the first floor to the left. An original 24-pane hornless sash window is present on the ground floor to the right; the remaining ground-floor and first-floor windows are 20th-century replacements with glazing bars. A former loading doorway is located to the left of the centre. Above it is a blocked doorway on its right. There is a deepened opening to the first floor to the right, and a partly blocked former wide doorway to the ground floor to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
