Description

Ringmore House is a house, likely dating from the 17th century and altered around 1850. It is constructed of painted roughcast with a slate roof, featuring a stack on the left return. The house has a double-depth plan and includes an early 19th century single-storey rear wing. The exterior presents a symmetrical three-window facade across two storeys. Two forward-facing gables are connected by a coped parapet in the centre and on the sides. The first floor has 20th century, two-light windows with small panes. The ground floor features similar, small-paned French windows within two-storey, flat-roofed canted bays, which flank a half-glazed 19th century door. Painted label moulds are present above the door and central window. An eight-pane sash window is visible on the left return. The interior was not inspected, but it is noted that the ground floor rooms have panelled shutters.
