SX 55 SE YEALMPTON 4/251 Lodge approximately 880 metres east of Kitley House

Pair of lodges at entrance to drive linked by arch over the drive. Circa 1820-25 and probably contemporary with G.S. Repton's remodelling of Kitley House qv. Ashlar and with slate roofs. Tudor style. Central moulded four-centred arch over the drive, with recessed spandrels. Surmounted by crenellated parapet with coat of arms and flanked by octagonal turrets with tall pinnacles with ogee caps. Large moulded panelled doors one missing. Plain screen walls either side with moulded coping and octagonal turrets at each end with crenellated caps. Behind the screens, small single storey lodges with finials over the gable ends, moulded coping to parapet, moulded string course, wooden mullion windows and panelled doors.
