Description

Old Puslinch Farmhouse, dating to circa the 16th century, was formerly the manor house before the construction of Puslinch House. A two-storey structure with a slate roof and gabled ends, it is built of stone rubble. The front facade has a three-window range, featuring 20th-century three-light casement windows with glazing bars, and a 20th-century glazed porch to the left of centre. The chimney stacks have been heightened in red brick, with a particularly large stack on the south end.

At the rear (east) of the house, two four-centred arch chamfered granite doorways stand side by side, with pyramid stops to the base of the jambs. A chamfered granite window shares the same jamb. The farmhouse has seen 20th-century additions, including a two-storey wing at the higher south end with a slightly higher slate roof, a single-storey wing at the lower north end, and a lean-to at the rear.

The interior is said to contain exposed ceiling beams and a stone newel staircase with later wooden treads.
