Description

Nos. 1 and 2, The Square, are a pair of cottages likely built in the 18th century. They feature rendered rubble walls that may include some cob, topped with a gable-ended thatch roof. Each end has a rendered rubble stack with a brick shaft. The cottages are two storeys high and have a regular front with two windows, which are 20th-century two-light casements. At the center, there are two adjoining 20th-century part-glazed doors, with the right-hand door sheltered by a hood. The interior was inaccessible during the survey.
