Description
The Cottage and Jasmine Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, with 19th or 20th century additions. They feature slate rubble walls and have gable-ended roofs, with The Cottage covered in slate and Jasmine Cottage thatched. There are two brick stacks, one axial and one at the right gable end. The Cottage has a two-room plan but may have originally been two separate cottages. Jasmine Cottage, originally two rooms, has been converted into one room in the 20th century. There are also rear outshuts added in the 19th or early 20th century. The cottages are two storeys high and have a regular two-by-two window arrangement with early 20th century two-light casements. The Cottage on the left has a slate pentice over a 20th century stable-type door, with another blocked doorway to its left. Jasmine Cottage also features a pentice over a 20th century glazed door. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the survey.
