Description

Faunstone Cottage, formerly a farmhouse, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled and hipped ends. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with 19th-century three-light casements that include glazing bars. A large rendered chimneystack is located at the west gable end. There is an outbuilding attached to the west of the cottage.
