Description

These are a pair of limekilns located on Frogmore Creek, dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from slatestone rubble and are positioned side by side. Each kiln features a shallow chamber with a curved back and pointed arches that have flattened heads. There is also a stub of a wall projecting from the front wall, indicating that there was once some sort of structure attached to the front of the kilns.
