Description
Rosebank Cottage is a cottage built in the 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. It features plastered rubble walls and a thatched roof, which is half-hipped at the left end and gabled at the right. There is a large projecting plastered rubble stack at the gable end. The cottage has a two-room plan, with a larger heated room on the right and the entry into the left-hand room. A 20th-century wing is set back from the right-hand end, and there is a small addition at the left-hand end. The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with one window, featuring a 20th-century three-light casement. To the left, there is a 19th-century plank door under a slate hood. A 20th-century garage addition is located at the left-hand end, with a room above it, and there is a further 20th-century extension set back from the right-hand end. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the survey.
