Description
Coombe Villa is a house located at No. 12 Coombe Road in Dartmouth, built around 1850-1860. It is part of a contemporary terrace and features stucco on stone rubble, with the front designed to resemble ashlar. The left end wall is hung with asbestos slate, and it has end stacks with brick chimney shafts. The roof is slate and hipped to the left.
The house is two storeys tall and has a symmetrical two-window front. On the ground floor, there are French windows with sidelights behind a tented-roof verandah supported by plain timber posts. The first floor features two paired round-headed windows with attractive moulded stucco architraves and moulded hoods on engaged columns. There is a Victorian-style conservatory on the left side, and at the rear, there is a round-headed doorway with a flat stucco architrave and a 20th-century door with a contemporary fanlight. The interior has not been inspected.
