Description

Gothic Lodge is a mid-19th century Gothic villa situated on Plymouth Road. It has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high. The roof is covered in Welsh slate with projecting eaves, carved bargeboards featuring pendants and finials. The exterior is rendered in stucco. The windows are recessed sash windows with splayed reveals. The ground floor features a splayed bow window. A projecting porch has a doorway with a four-centred arched head and a square-headed hood mould, and contains a panelled door.
