Description

The Mount Plym Hotel is an early 19th-century building, constructed before 1834. It is a two-storey structure with dormers. The facade presents a double-fronted design with three windows. The roof is covered in Welsh slate and features rendered stacks and projecting eaves supported by brackets. The front of the building is cement rendered, with giant rusticated pilasters situated between the bays and extending to a plain eaves band. It contains recessed sash windows. A prostyle portico provides entrance access, featuring a segmental-arched, architraved doorway and a half-glazed door. A forecourt is present, bordered by a balustraded parapet topped with urns.
