Description

Eglens is an early 19th century villa, built before 1834. It has two storeys and a double-fronted design featuring three windows. There are later additions on the east and west sides. The villa has a hipped Welsh slate roof with rendered stacks and a rendered front that includes a cave's cornice. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars. A Greek Doric prostyle portico is present, which has a cast iron balustrade decorated with a palmette motif. The entrance features a half-glazed door with panelled reveals.
