Description

Waterloo Place is an early 19th century villa situated set back from the road. It was formerly used as an isolation hospital during the cholera epidemic of the 1840s. The villa is two storeys high and double-fronted, with two windows. It has a modern slate roof with plain eaves. The front facade is rendered, featuring pilaster strips on quoins. The windows are architraved sashes with glazing bars. A recessed doorway has a rectangular fanlight above a panelled door.
