Description

Elwell is an earlier to mid-19th century villa, built after 1834. It stands two storeys high and features a three-window front with a recessed bay at the east end. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, and it has projecting eaves. The facade is finished in stucco with rusticated block quoins. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars. At the entrance, there is a prostyle portico with a simplified entablature, leading to an architraved doorway with panelled reveals.
