Description

Northcote and Rosemount are an early 19th century pair of semi-detached villas, built before 1834. Northcote was formerly known as Elwell. The buildings are two storeys high with dormers, and have a Welsh slate roof. They are constructed of stucco and feature a dentil eaves cornice and hipped dormers. The windows are recessed sash windows, some with glazing bars. The doorways are round-arched with edge roll mouldings. The doorway to Rosemount is blocked, but a new side entrance has been created. Northcote has a fanlight above its panelled door. A verandah with a tented roof is present on the ground floor of Northcote.
