Description

18 Bridgetown is an earlier-mid 19th century villa. It is a five-storey building with a double-fronted facade of three windows. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, featuring red brick stacks. The front of the villa is stuccoed, with pilaster strips defining the quoins. The ground floor is rusticated, and a cornice and blocking course run along the top. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The central bay's ground floor window has side lights, and the first floor window is adorned with console-bracketed cornices. A Greek Doric portico in antis provides a sheltered entrance, leading to an architraved doorway with a panelled door.
