Description

Devon Place is an early 19th-century terrace of three storeys, comprising numbers 1 to 5. The symmetrical facade features projecting end bays at numbers 1 and 5, each with two windows. The roof is covered in Welsh slate, with rendered stacks. The front facade is stuccoed, with rusticated detailing to the ground floor and pilaster strips between the bays that carry a cornice and blocking cornice. A plain band runs along the first floor. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor openings are segmental arched. The doorways in the central range have console-bracketed cornices, although the doors have been altered. Number 5 features a patterned fanlight.
