Description

No. 4 Bridgetown is an early 19th-century house that stands two storeys tall. It features four windows on the first floor, with paired central windows. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has a red brick chimney stack. The front is plastered and includes a plinth and a moulded eaves cornice. The west gable is slate-hung. The house has recessed sash windows with exposed boxing and glazing bars, and it retains its original shop window with large panes. There is a carriage entrance at the east end, which has a timber lintel. The recessed doorway has a console bracketed cornice and a chamfered arris, and it features a raised and fielded panel door.
