Description
This building is a bank barn with an attached shippen and horse engine house, located approximately 15 metres southeast of Wollaton Farm House. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof featuring gabled ends. The structure has two storeys and is built into a bank, with the barn at ground floor level at the rear (east). The west front showcases two barn loft doors with slated hoods and shippen doors at ground level, all featuring dressed segmental arches. There are ventilation slits under the eaves. At the rear, there is a polygonal horse engine house topped with a hipped slate roof. This building is included for its group value.
