Description
Priests' Cottages is a pair of cottages, likely once the parsonage, dating from the 15th or 16th century but largely rebuilt and extended in the early 19th century. They feature a stone rubble construction with a slate roof and gabled ends, standing two storeys tall with a long range of four windows. On the south side, the left-hand (west) end has two-light stone windows from the 15th or 16th century, which have pointed arch lights and cusped arches on the ground floor, both adorned with hood moulds. The remaining windows are 19th or 20th century two-light casements with glazing bars. There are stone rubble chimney stacks at the gable ends. The west end includes a 20th-century extension, and the eaves overhang on the south side. Simple doorways on the north side are accompanied by 20th-century porches.
