Description

Wollaton Farm House is a circa 17th-century farmhouse with an early 19th-century extension. It is constructed of stone rubble, partly rendered, and has a slate roof with gabled ends. The original north range features a granite three-light hollow-chamfered mullion window and a small ovolo moulded single-light window. A circa 17th/18th-century gabled wing extends to the right (southeast), forming an L-shaped plan, and incorporates sash windows with glazing bars and a side chimney stack. A two-storey, two-window extension, also with sashes and glazing bars, was added in the early 19th century, completing the L-shape. A gabled stone porch is situated to the right, and a stone rubble chimney stack is located at the gable end.
