Description

This milestone, located about 420 metres southeast of Dundridge, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and features a splayed two-sided front with a rounded top. The lettering is inscribed in lower case with serifs on both sides. The milestone is set deep in the ground, and the word "miles" may be inscribed on the lower section, which is currently underground.
