Description

Porch Cottage is an 18th-century house located in Malborough. It features rendered stone rubble walls and a thatched roof that is gabled at the right end and half-hipped at the left. There is a brick stack at the left-hand end. The layout is likely double depth and two rooms wide, with the entrance at the right-hand end, possibly leading to a through passageway. The exterior has two storeys and an asymmetrical front with two windows, which are late 19th or early 20th century 4 and 6-pane sashes. At the right-hand end, there is a wide opening with two 20th-century doors set back. The interior was inaccessible during the survey.
