Description

Driftwood is a house dating to around the late 17th century. It has walls of rendered stone rubble and a hipped thatched roof. A brick rear stack, positioned axially with the adjacent property, is also present. The house is set end-on to the road, with a likely 2 or 3-room plan and a single depth. The main entrance is at the rear, within the right-hand end room. The front facade is asymmetrical, featuring a two-window arrangement with 20th-century 2 and 3-light casement windows. A 19th-century four-panel door is located in the rear wall, sheltered by an open-fronted porch. The interior was inaccessible during the survey.
