Description
This is a milestone located about 180 metres south-south-east of Brockhal Lodge. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of white painted granite with a round head. The front of the milestone is inscribed in upper case with serifs, stating "To Kingsbe 9, To Dartmo 6". This milestone marks the Kingsbridge to Dartmouth turnpike, which was built by the Kingsbridge and Dartmouth Trust.
