Description
The garden walls located immediately east of the tower of the Collegiate Chantry of St Mary are likely from the 18th century and/or early 19th century. They are constructed from slate rubble and feature string courses beneath a rubble capping. The walls are L-shaped in plan, connecting to the chantry tower at the west end and to the stables and cartshed range of The Chantry at the south end, where there is a pointed arch doorway through the wall. Currently, the walls enclose a small orchard.
