Description

This is a milestone located immediately southwest of Higher Asherne, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of white painted granite and features a rounded top. The front of the milestone is inscribed in uppercase letters with serifs, stating "To Kingsbridge 10, To Dartmo 5". Above the inscription, there is a bench mark. This milestone is situated on the Kingsbridge to Dartmouth turnpike, which was constructed by the Kingsbridge and Dartmouth Trust.
