Description
This milestone, dating from the early 19th century, is located about 125 metres north-north-east of Pound House Farmhouse. It is a dressed granite monolith standing approximately 1 metre high, featuring a round head. The milestone is painted white and has black-painted carved lettering in upper case with serifs that reads: "TO E KINGSBG 13 TO 0 DARTM 2". It is set into a bank at a road junction and was erected by the Knightsbridge-Dartmouth Turnpike Trust.
