Description
This building is a barn, shippen, and cartshed located approximately 80 metres south west of Post Office Farm House. It dates from around 1885 and is likely the work of George Devey's office for the Revelstoke estate. The structure is made of stone rubble and features a slate half-hipped roof with gablets. The eaves extend down the centre to create a hood supported by brackets over the central loft door of the barn. The barn is at ground level at the rear, with three shippen doors on the ground floor, which are covered by a continuous slated pentice hood on brackets. There is an adjoining single-storey cartshed at the north east end, which also has a half-hipped slate roof and an open front. A 20th-century single-storey concrete extension is located at the south west end.
