Description

Barnicott is a house, originally a farmhouse, dating to the early 18th century. The house is constructed of rendered stone rubble, with a thatched roof featuring eyebrow eaves and gable ends. It has two storeys and a five-window front. The windows are 19th and 20th century two-light casements with glazing bars. A 18th or 19th century panelled door is located to the right of centre, protected by a 20th-century tiled porch supported by granite posts. External stone rubble chimney stacks are visible at the gable ends. A rear wing, also constructed of stone rubble and with a thatched roof, dates from the 18th century.
