Description
Voss Cottage is a range of two cottages dating from the 17th to 18th century. The cottages are constructed of stone rubble, with No. 50 being plastered and No. 51 having a roughcast finish. They feature slate roofs with gabled and half-hipped ends, although No. 50 has asbestos slates. The buildings are two storeys tall and have a long facade with six windows. The windows and doors are from the 20th century, with casements and hoods. There are two stone rubble chimney stacks on the front wall, with No. 50's stack rendered and projecting. Inside No. 50, there is a timber bressumer supported by wooden corbels, along with exposed roughly-hewn ceiling beams and a stud partition wall.
