Description
Rock Cottage is a cottage that is part of a row of cottages, dating from around the 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed stone rubble, with the southwest wing being roughcast. The cottage features a slate roof with gabled and half-hipped ends and stands two storeys tall. It has a three-window range, with a projecting gabled wing to the left (southwest) that includes hood moulds over the windows and a large external stone rubble chimney stack at the angle. To the right of the chimney stack is a 20th-century glazed door. The ground floor has larger 20th-century casements with leaded panes, while the upper floor features 19th-century casements with glazing bars.
