Description

This linhay, located approximately 4 metres south-west of Cheldon Barton, is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and cob, topped with a hipped thatch roof. The linhay features an open front and consists of 10 bays, although the three bays at the left end have been boarded up. At the right end, there is a lean-to with a catslide thatch roof. The original roof structure remains intact, showcasing pegged straight principals with lapped collars, and the loft floor is also preserved.
