Description
Stone Bridge Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of plastered cob on rubble footings, with cob or stone rubble stacks topped by original stone rubble chimney shafts, and features a thatched roof. The cottage has a three-room plan and faces southeast, with the right room having a rear lateral stack and the left end serving as the kitchen stack. It is two storeys high and has irregular fenestration, featuring four ground floor windows and two first floor windows that are unevenly arranged, primarily towards the right. These windows consist of various late 19th century and 20th century casements with glazing bars. There is a plank door located roughly in the centre, which is sheltered by a 20th century gabled porch with a slate roof. The interior was not available for inspection at the time of the survey.
