CHAWLEIGH SS 71 SW 2/32 Stone Bridge Cottage - GV II

Cottage. Probably C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob or stone rubble stacks both with original stone rubble chimney shafts; thatch roof. 3-room plan cottage facing south-east the right room projecting rear lateral stack and left end kitchen stack. 2 storeys. Irregular fenestration with 4 ground floor and 2 first floor windows unevenly disposed more to right, and made up of various late C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars. Plank door with C20 gabled and slate roofed porch roughly in centre. Interior not available for inspection at time of survey.
