Description
The Nook is a cottage, likely built in the 18th century. It features plastered cob on rubble footings and has a rubble stack with a 20th-century brick chimney shaft. The thatched roof is hipped at both ends. This two-storey cottage has a two-room plan and faces south, with an end stack projecting from the left (west) end. The front has two windows, which are 20th-century casements, along with one late 19th-century casement on the first floor; all windows include glazing bars. There is a central door that is sheltered by a 20th-century porch with a slate roof. Inside, the cottage has a plain chamfered crossbeam, and the fireplace is blocked. The roof has not been inspected.
