Description

This cottage, likely from the 18th century, is located on Church Street in Morchard Bishop. It is constructed of plastered cob and rubble, featuring a rubble stack with a 20th-century thick chimney shaft and a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-room plan and faces south, with a large projecting stack on the right (east) end. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with three windows, which include late 19th to early 20th-century casements and a 20th-century copy with glazing bars. The central door is accompanied by a 20th-century gabled porch. The interior has not been inspected.
