Description

Nethercott House is an early 19th-century cottage located on Down Lane in Braunton. The building features colourwashed rendered rubble and a slate roof, with brick stacks at each gable end. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. The window openings are adorned with flat brick arches, consisting of two-light and three-light casements, with a two-light window to the left and a 20th-century casement to the right of a central slated porch. The porch has a half-glazed door. To the left, the house has been extended with a single-storey outbuilding that projects at right angles. This property is included for its group value.
