Description

This building is a warehouse, which now includes the premises of The Sheepskin Shop, dating from around the 1820s. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features an M-shaped roof, with the front roof covered in corrugated asbestos and the rear roof tiled with pantiles. There is a brick chimney stack located in the valley of the roof. The structure consists of two ranges under the M-roof, with a low cartway on the front range that faces a similar archway leading into the rear block. The front range is now partly used as a shop.

The building has two storeys and presents an asymmetrical seven-window facade. The ground floor features a low central segmental-headed archway, which is glazed and has a shop window behind it. This archway is flanked by doorways with overlights. To the right of the right-hand doorway, there is an eight-pane sash window and another doorway at the far right. To the left of the left-hand doorway, there is an eight-pane sash window and a 20th-century plate-glass shop window with a fascia and three round-headed arches, along with another eight-pane sash window at the far left. On the first floor, there is a central loft loading door and six two-light casement windows, each with two panes per light. The left side of the front block has a 20th-century shop window and three openings in the gable.

The interior has not been inspected but may still contain features of interest. This building is a largely intact example of an early 19th-century warehouse.
