Description

Langleigh Country House Hotel is a detached house that was remodeled around 1820 to 1830 from an earlier structure. The building is finished in stucco with rendered slate-hung end and rear walls, and it has slate roofs, with the main roof being half-hipped and featuring brick end stacks. The layout consists of a single-depth range and a rear wing, creating an L-shaped plan. The house is two stories tall and has a three-window main range, along with a single-window recessed extension on the right side.

The central entrance is round-arched and includes a fanlight and a half-glazed door. A glazed verandah supported by timber posts extends across the front, with a brick and glazed sitting area to the left, likely added in the 20th century. Above the entrance is a hornless sash window, while all other windows are bowed tripartite hornless sashes, with those on the first floor featuring slated penthouse roofs. The eaves cornice is wooden and bracketed.

Inside, the property retains some fluted door surrounds and other original features. The staircase includes stick balusters and a column newel leading to the top floor.
