Description

The Belvedere is a detached house built in the early 19th century. It has a stuccoed exterior, likely over brick, and features a gabled-end roof that is partially visible behind a parapet. The house is probably designed with a central staircase plan and consists of three storeys.

The front of the house, which faces west, has a crenellated design and a two-window range. The second floor has six-pane hornless sash windows, while the other floors feature twelve-pane hornless sash windows. On the right side, there is a two-storey canted crenellated bay that contains sash windows as described. To the left, there is a recessed wing that is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with two twelve-pane hornless sash windows on the first floor and a French window leading to a flat roof. This flat roof has a single-storey late 20th-century extension with large sliding picture windows.

The right-hand elevation has a three-window range with windows matching those on the front. The rear of the house has irregular fenestration and an external stack, which may suggest the presence of an earlier building. The interior has not been inspected.
