Description
This large barn, located 20 metres northeast of Tutshill Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century and is constructed mainly of cob, with some stone and breeze block patching. It features a corrugated asbestos roof that is half-hipped at all three ends, forming a T-shaped plan. The roof principals appear to be intact. On the south side, there is a large double plank door with a heavy timber lintel and a corrugated asbestos canopy above it. To the left of this door is a small ventilation slit, and to the right, there is a square loft opening with a timber lintel in a projecting bay. The east wall has two small ventilators and timber plank doors on either side. A corrugated iron lean-to shed on the east side is not included in the listed description. The interior has not been inspected.
